about

hello! my name is Rachel. i am the textile artist/owner behind low tide threads. i started out purely as a crochet artist, but what began as a love letter to fiber has grown into a broader exploration of textiles and wearable art. above all, i am drawn to organic, comfortable silhouettes using sustainable materials.

low tide threads is a celebration of texture, wearability, and slow fashion. inspired by my upbringing on the coast of Long Island Sound, my work is rooted in the soft moments of coastal living: the breeze through cotton layers, the call of seagulls, and, most vividly, the rhythm of the tide.

each piece is made with intentionality and patience. low tide threads exists at the nexus of design and comfort, fiber and ink, craft and coast. it is for those who find the simple beauty in the sun-weathered, the salt-made, the quietly bold.
